Casey Murphy, M.D.

  • Born and raised in Kenner, LA, Dr. Murphy earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with

    honors from LSU in Baton Rouge and attended LSU Medical School.

  • He completed his residency and was selected as the Chief Resident of the LSU Physical Medicine &

    Rehabilitation program. During residency, he was nominated for Resident of the Year

    and selected as a member of Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) Honor Medical Society.

  • After being selected as Chief Fellow, he completed an ACGME accredited LSU Interventional

    Pain Medicine Fellowship.

  • He is ABMS double-board certified in Pain Medicine as well as Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation.

  • He is a Professor at LSU and Tulane Medical Schools

  • When not treating patients in Baton Rouge, he is teaching and training the future pain physicians of

    Louisiana.

  • He is an active member and fellow of the American Academy of Pain Medicine (D.A.A.P.M.) and the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (F.A.A.P.M.R.).

  • In his personal life, Dr. Murphy is married and has two children. He enjoys spending time with his family and fishing.
